An airy, light-filled cream-colored bedroom in Carroll Gardens.

We loved painting this cream-colored bedroom but we understand it can be so hard to choose a color to replace those white walls. Should you go with a light color to open up the space or a dark one to add drama? And what specific shade? No worries, we can help you select a color you’ll love with a complimentary color consultation. We’ll consider other colors in the room, from the floor to the ceiling, which direction the windows face, the color of your furnishings, as well as your personal sense of style to help you narrow down your selections.

  • Replaced baseboards on one floor, cloned the profile assembly seen elsewhere in the property, applied waterborne enamel by sprayer, and brush (hand-tipped finish)

  • Removed radiators, cork board, wainscoting, old closets, and patched walls

  • Removed wallpaper, cleaned walls, patched and painted

  • Skimcoated select areas after HVAC work was done, primed and painted

  • Removed failed latex paint from some doors where a previous painter had not applied the correct coating system, then sanded and primed the door correctly prior to painting

  • Consulted with color selections throughout and helped with specifying ideal paints and sheens for each room
