Please provide the information below! My estimating software requires at minimum: full name, full property address, phone number and email for me to start typing up notes about any new project. It helps me stay organized with all the information in one place and ensure I get back to each person in a timely manner. It won’t be shared with anyone else.

Please provide existing conditions photos. Generally I do not need so much detail or close ups but I want to see all of the areas to see the scale and make sure everything is in view. For example, show me both sides of the peninsula so I can see if it has panels or doors and so I can estimate the square footage of the surfaces. Additionally, if you have architectural drawings/bid sets, links, provide those as well.

If the work is part of other improvements you’re making to the space, let me know the other aspects of the renovation or revamp that I may be coordinating with. For example, are you replacing counters, tiles, refinishing or replacing floors. I am very good at working alongside or coordinating with other trades but I want to know this in advance to minimize rework.

Do you have a general sense for when you’d like the work done?

I also wanted to add here because many of you are busy during the week and as an owner-operator, so am I. I almost always have a tool in my hand Monday-Friday and may even have a full face respirator on, though I’ll try to get back to you if I don’t pickup. Weekend calls and emails are quite welcome! Don’t worry, you’re not bothering me.

Service Area

Houndstooth Painting is a small, craftsman-led company so in order to spend the most time on-site serving our customers, we have a limited service area. We primarily serve Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Projects outside our standard service area are welcome but are subject to minimum project size.
